Hosting

This website and its database are run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Nuremberg. Hetzner processes the data only on our behalf. According to the Swiss Federal Council, Germany provides an adequate level of data protection.

Visiting the website and server log files

Each time the website is accessed, the server automatically stores the following information:

• shortened IP address (the last two segments are removed, e.g. 203.0.x.x)
• date and time of access
• page or file requested and status code
• amount of data transferred
• browser, operating system and the previously visited page (referrer)

This data is used to operate the website securely and reliably and to find errors. It is not combined with other data and is deleted automatically after 14 days.

Cookies, language setting, web analytics and fonts

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising and do not use any web analytics services. A technically necessary cookie is only set when logging in to the administration area and concerns only the operators of the website.

The website appears in German or English, depending on your browser's language setting. If you choose the language yourself using the "DE / EN" switch, we store this choice in a cookie named "lang" for one year so that the website appears in your language on your next visit. The cookie contains only the language code.

If you have agreed to load Google Maps (see below), this decision is stored in your browser's local storage so that you are not asked again on every visit. This entry is not transmitted to us.

All fonts are loaded from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other providers for this.

Contact form

When you write to us using the contact form, we process your name, your email address, the subject and your message in order to answer your enquiry. The information is stored in our database on the server mentioned above and is not passed on to third parties.

We delete the message as soon as the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. Database backups are overwritten after 14 days.

To protect against spam, your IP address is kept in the server's memory for a maximum of one hour when you submit the form, in order to limit the number of messages per sender. It is not stored permanently.

Booking via our partner

Availability, prices and bookings are handled by our partner Loga Immobilien. The booking links open its website (booking.loga.ch) in a new window. Loga Immobilien is itself responsible for the data entered there, and its privacy policy applies. No data is transmitted to Loga Immobilien via our website.

Google Maps

In the "Location" section you can display a map from Google Maps. The map is only loaded when you click "Load Google Maps". Before that, no connection to Google takes place.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the map is loaded, in particular your IP address, information about your browser and device, and the page visited are transmitted to Google. Google may also transfer this data to Google LLC in the USA and set cookies there. According to its own statements, Google is certified under the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future:

3D tour

The 3D tour of the apartment is provided by Matterport, Inc., USA, and opens in a new window on its website. Data such as your IP address is only transmitted to Matterport when you open it. Matterport's privacy policy applies.

Data security

The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the server and the stored data is restricted to the operators and protected by technical measures.

Your rights

Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have in particular the right to

• request information about the data processed about you,
• have incorrect data corrected,
• request the deletion of your data or the restriction of its processing,
• object to processing and withdraw consent you have given,
• receive your data in a common electronic format.

To do so, please contact the controller named above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU.
